Any older cold blooded Rockets other than mine?

Had my battery on a tender, did not started it for 2 months, now it refuses to start, it turns maybe half a turn and it stops, sometimes it just clicks.
I went ahead and bought a new AGM battery, connected it and it does the same. I always have this issue in the cold weather but this time is abusing the privilege.
Am i the only one? o_O
Only thing I could advise is start from the beginning .check all grounds ( clean & retighten ) remove starter clean and lightly sand all faces that come in contact to the engine ( clean studs and bolts to metal . Do not put loctite on bolts or nut ,use lock washers only ) Once you've got this done & if it still doesn't turnover properly then you start electrical dignos .

Always had this trouble with mine ,cold weather or not using for a time no start. Tried the extra relay ,extra earth wire brand new battery same result .Solved my problem with a Noco booster ,works every time. I Know that there is a drain down of the oil in the tank when the bike has'nt been used for a while and think that might draw a lot of power if the crankshaft is trying to turn with the extra drag of excess oil in the sump. Once she's started an warmed up, starts every time after that. When the weather warms up no problems starting.

I've had this once but it wasn't in cold weather. It was a couple of weeks ago at the end of a 200 mile ride, during which I'd stopped for a break three times and restarted the bike without issue. When I was 30 miles form home I pulled into a filling station, fueled up and paid and when I tried to restart, click and nothing. Had to get a jump start off a car.
The dealer checked the battery and said it is likely goosed as the voltage was dropping drastically under cranking. But it hasn't happened again and is holding full charge overnight, so I hope he's right.

A french fellow had have the same problem , Mexican !
He thought it was a battery problem as you do .
He got the idea to check the fuel pump . The pressure must
be 3 bars and he got only 1.9 bars . He tested the pressure regulator,
it was ok to 3 bars so he changed the pump and now it's OK .
Perhaps you should test the pressure on the ruber line before the
injectors , with a T on the line and a manometer that would be useful .

If it clicks and won't turn over and the dash like dim or go out at the same time, it's the battery. If it spins over at full speed but won't fire I'd be looking at ignition or fuel.
These batteries aren't big enough. Every time they flatten enough to produce a no-start they lose a little capacity. Cold weather starts will make them work harder and worsen the problem. It's telling that Triumph give a two year warranty on the bike but only one year on the battery. They clearly knew the batteries would have a short life.
