Another new Rocket owner!

Hi all,

Obligatory intro post here. Just picked up a 2014 Roadster and it’s amazing!

I’m based near Tring, UK so will be interested to know if any other owners are nearby.

Going to be scouring the forums for any useful information I can pick up about this monster.

Anyone got any favourite tips or recommendations on owning a Rocket?

This is my third Triumph!

First was a ‘94 Trident Sprint, second a 2010 Bonnie T100. Both were great bikes.

NICE! This is my third as well. I started off in an '08 America, then moved on to a '10 Thunderbird before getting Fiona, my '14 R3T. My Bride of 38 years is the one who encouraged me to take a test ride... after which I was HOOKED!

Best advice is be very respectful of the power... But not timid. She's more nimble then one expects.

Nice looking bike

Based on where you are, two trips came to mind.
1- You're not far from Caffeine Machine, so I could imagine that little jaunt north via a countryside route should be enjoyable.
2- A run up to the Triumph visitor centre should stretch it's legs nicely.
