Carp scoop.jpg

Here is a picture of what it is suppose to look like when finished.

Does anyone have the dimensions (length, width, height) of the Ramair filter? I have the Carp intake and just received the intake runners with clamps from my dealer. Seems I have three options for filtering- use filter socks over the inlet runners, make a panel filter to fit inside the inlet opening, or stick the Ramair into the runner holes (if it fits into the inlet opening). Seems the inlet hole is approximately 3.5x4", but once inside the intake, the panel seem cavernous. Pictures included for your viewing pleasure!

Lee, the rubber base is approx. 13 1/4 long - from bottom of rubber base (not attachment openings) to the top of filter element is 3 1/4 - and measuring it on the bike makes it a little difficult, but width is approx. 3 1/4 - 3 1/2

Thanks, that just might fit the opening. I see many split Ramairs on this site. Anyone got a split Ramair filter not being used for rent or sale cheap that I can use for a fitment check? I hate to invest in a new one and find it won't fit!

I talked with home nearly 2 yrs ago on those. He stalled out for a while. So glad he finished them! I wonder if you could slide the smaller K&N filters in there?

It seems to have room around the velocity stacks. The #3 stack seems tight, so I need something flexible as it will lay against the wall. The biggest problem is coming up with something to attach the filters to.

Ramair filter is more flexible than the k&n
