Hello, I have two questions, did a forum member:
1/removed the EVAP module?

2/removed the AIS system?

If the answer is yes, why and what was the gain in terms of approval and/or performance?
Thank you for your contributions !

I removed the AIS when I moved to the Verex exhaust system to help with the popping on decel. When I switched to the Carpenter and got a fresh tune to match the popping decreased even further. I used a SmartMoto kit to block off the AIS ports

ok, NHNRS, thank you for your feedback I think I will soon move on to removing the AIS because the popping with the IXIL exhaust is really painful...for my ears and probably for my engine too...

Back when I was working on the NRS (Night Rod Special) I had one of the original Harley tuners that actually let you change everything in the tune I found that richening the decel on that bike helped the decel pops. I didn't use TuneECU for the Rocket - too busy at work so I just went to BT-Moto for their device and tuning.

Here is a kit for removing the EVAP system.

Yes, NHNRS, I too have made quite a few modifications to my HDs mainly thanks to Dynojet's Power Vision.
Unfortunately it can't be used on the Rocket and it's a shame because this system is really great.

I'm considering eventually passing the Rocket to the Dynojet bench but I'm very hesitant because now in France we have a technical inspection of the motorcycles and it's really crap... I'm going to see if we can just tune a map and let the other original ones (rain for example) to pass this obstacle without problem!
