Advise on Clutch Update

Let's see if this will continue to work.
Steels and fibers looked good. I suspect that the springs had weakened. I hope this lifter will deal with the strong Barnett pieces.

Won't you have to repaint that first?

What does the lifter shaft look like? Any burning?

It looks good. Only minor defects at the very edge.

Cool now your down to everthing that comes in the barnet clutch. If you're not going to measure the fibers then replace them. Steels can be inspected for any warp and burnst. A puece of flat glass is good for checking them. Of course if you're getting a new set don't bother

Got everything back together (amazing for a mechanical numpty like me) and went for a test ride. The Barnett definitely has stronger springs as felt at the clutch lever. Different engagement feel as well. Very smooth. I should have done this a long time ago.
