I did it to myself, pulled into my daughter's driveway all stoked, first time out on the bike for a couple of months due to the cold and I left the key on. Went back out a few hours later to make my dramatic departure and it was stone cold dead. Pulled the battery got a ride back to the house charged the battery and after a few tries of charging the battery up enough (seems the Battery Tender was inadequate for some reason) I got her fired up.

On my way home the ABS light stayed on, it is a fairly new bike, just got it in November so there is no wear yet on the brakes.

Does something simply need to be reset, I could take it to the dealer in Knoxville but that is a hassle if it is something simple. Any words of wisdom out there, it would be much appreciated.

Mark the last guy who had a ABS light issue because of pulling his rear wheel noticed it went out on its own after several start up cycles.

I agree....give it a few running cycles and it should go out. If it's stopping okay I'd give it a little time to correct.

Thanks, I will attempt to be patient
If you had a manual for the Roadster it would probably tell you how many good trouble free cycles it must complete before resetting the error.
Hope this works out for you. I am not expert as I own older Rockets without ABS (Thank God)

a drive cycle on a car goes something like this.
start car warm up for 5 minutes drive 35 mph for 5 minutes then drive 55mph for 5 minutes then coast to a stop.
i wonder what a drive cycle on the triumph is. may be some one will look it up.
probably as the volts got down to around 8 volts the abs triggered the computer of a low volts should clear up. might try cycling the key 6 times.
