A Sheep In Wolf's Clothing or Vice Versa?

I'm really liking the Indian Roadmaster! It would be a great addition to the stable, but I have a hard time getting past the $30,000+ sticker on it.
Everything rattles on that bike. Everything. The drive train is excellent for an air cooled bike and the brakes are very good. Not great but very good. Comfortable and a radio you can hear at high speed. The windshield is electrically adjusted, that is cool. But that vibrates real bad in the down position and vibrates in the up position as well. Everything shakes, rattles, and vibrates. It Rolls too, but those are the wheels.

I have a good friend locally that has purchased 2 new Indians over the last year. I'll post up my view from the bridge as soon as we have a chance to exchange bikes for a short scoot. He's a bit older and more conservative a rider than me and he's never been on a beast that's remotely as aggressive as mine, so I'm praying that he doesn't have a heart attack or stroke when he twists the wick on my Mistress.

Just got back from Florida Sunday stopped in Daytona on the way to the keys and saw these on the boardwalk for sale! Had to take a picture!!

I think they engineered the retro so well it is already wearing itself out.

THAT OLD styling has worn itself out and thats old news SO INDIAN need to come up with a fresh new look we are tired of the same OLD 1940 styling they also need a NEW Modern powerplant thats watercooled and makes serious Horsepower to stomp HARLEY I dont like any of the Indian models now TRIUMPH has a better line of bikes and we love the ROCKET for the SUPER CRUISER and TRIUMPH can easily continue to improve the beast

Agreed. The Indian was ugly in 1940 too. This air cooled nonsense is keeping Indian, Victory & H-D in the stone age. H-D had a good start with the Nova project in the 70s but it got scrapped because of the H-D loyal followers, what a bunch of BS. Just think where H-D would be if the Nova took off, or even later the V-Rod could gain a foothold in the narrow minded H-D riders air cooled mind. I find it difficult to believe that Polaris is keeping Victory & Indian at this level considering their advanced technology with Rotax, KTM, & Fuji.

I would love to see a full fairing and tour pack as an option for the R3T from the factory.
