Great pic's of the coast Bob. The wife and I rode from San Francisco to Seattle on US 101 Spectacular ride, On a 84 1200 Aspencade. Oregon being the the top of the list. 3 weeks and 7,000 miles and hundred of pictures. A once in a lifetime trip. One night I'll never forget is camping in Redwood forest under the mammoth redwoods. Your pictures sure bring back fond memories, painful however with 30" of snow on the ground here

Since moving to Oregon from SC 30 months ago I've logged 54,000 miles. I've been to the redwoods twice, once to Crescent city, CA and a great ride to Fortuna, CA and the Avenue of Giants. I need to return & get a pic of my R3T inside a redwood this summer. Go ahead, twist my arm, tempt me. LOL

Me on The Avenue Of Giants

Ok, here is an arm twist:
Hey Bob, get us a picture of an R3T inside a redwood!!!
Where were you in SC?

As far as the R3T my only wish is that it proves to be as good as my BMWs. I know what I bought in the Rocket. Give me a chance to ride a few miles before jumping down my throat already.
Define "good"?
How many miles on the Rocket?? It wasn't until I had 1,200mi on it (the first weekend) until I was comfy on it and got the hang of the heal/toe shifter and the floorboards.. By the end of the weekend, I was thrashing it around the twisties around Senica Rock WV..

By good I mean comfort, fun, reliability and longevity. I'm loving the R3T more every day. I'm over 500 miles now and learning more each ride.
