I’m riding it to often to send it out on loan but thanks. I would expect the carbon fiber to translate and retain less heat. I think the more rear foot position to be significant also.
I am waiting for somebody to produce aftermarket carbon heat guards to the GT. Carbon fibre guards AND exhaust wrap inside should certainly do the trick.

Been there done that! To be honest my days of blinging bikes are behind now, however I do like the carbon exhaust bits on the TFC, maybe just some heels plates, maybe some radiator surrounds, maybe a front mudguard. Bugger, he we go again1

Front Fender, Side panels, the shovel on the back (or go with a CF tail tidy), might have to CF that piece on the front of the bike in front of the handle bars, and, and, and, and
the fun never ends
I did not remove any of these covers to try as follows.
Why not include washer between the exhaust pipe and the cover if the screw allow it ? 1/16" thickness ?
Any airflow between cover and exhaust should work to decrease temperature of the cover.
