2020 Rocket engine guard heat.

I burnt my right calf in 2 places (mid pegs) on Friday when the outside air temp was 36degC, the rear guard was the culprit...which gasket sealant did you use, I think some have a higher temp rating than others? Going to adapt to this method once I have the right materials down.

I also keep my GT in the mid position, and the rear shield got me too.. Had to fix that, and fast.

Good job!! After i did mine, i noticed a 79 degree drop in temperature when using a heat laser gun on the shields after a long ride.

So, what size is the hex bolt? Tried a 3mm and a 4mm. Do they actually make a 3.5mm allen key? Out of my five sets there is not one 3.5mm

Its a T25 torx bit required to remove the 3 heat shields from the header. They are threadlocked so if you have not got replacement screws from Triumph, apply some High temp threadlock when reassenbling and tighten to 5Nm.
