Speaking of cooking are there any plans for cooking out at Leakey?

Ill converse with Cheff Clint. Im was planning on bringing some breakfast stuff, block and shredded Cheddar, cold cuts and croissants, tortillas, toast bread, muffins. Several pies. Hot dogs and bunz, crackers, chips, nutz and other stuff to place on the table for guests to feast on. Well have transportation to the local market for beer, liquor, meat and what not. I cook out of the oven and the skillets. We are missing the breakfast chef TerraEric. If you bring sausage and eggs, peppers and onions, he gets it done fast and cleans as he goes. He also cooks a pork leg that makes for very good tacos. It actually is a nice show to watch. This is my 65 birthday party and I'm sorta going Philipino.

Clint cooks out of the smoker. Once I have a better idea Ill pass it to Clint and see what he has planned. Sweat beeanz please. I could bake few dozen Idahoes and finish them in the smoker. Sour/cream/butter bacon bits old beans and cheeze with a chunk of pork or chicken. It will also depend on the # of people and their expectations and plans. The food in the street sucks and the town is out by 7 pm.

We are working on it and got it covered. Do any of the young guns cook? Clint I don't have a big cooler. Do I have to purchase one for the water and drinks?

Both of mine do, they have both worked food service and were raised in the BBQ business, I had multiple BBQ places for 25 years. They’ve got it going on in that department and I’m sure will be glad to pitch in as much or as little as is needed, as would I, all you have to do is say the word, we are used to cooking for big groups. I would suggested a big pot of pinto beans and a couple of bacon wrapped pork loins would go a long ways. Is anybody growing tomatoes? We have about a dozen plants right now, may still have tomatoes then, garden grown BLT’s are pretty special if we could scare up the tomatoes.

Eric lives near my place in Florida, if I'm down there in time maybe we can drag him along. Still going to be almost too close to call for me, but I think I can make it in time.
