Really sorry I'm missing this one, it sucks being an adult sometimes. But the wife got her first SS check today, after a year with no income for her, by this time next year my 2nd house will be gone, I'll be able to relax and travel more. Have fun, guys.

I've not heard of any open rooms for the 10th-13th yet and I just checked the Farm and the basic cabins are booked up so I may have to stay in Uvalde to get a cheap room.

The F'ing weather forecast keeps changing and my window of opportunity for a clean escape (i.e. warm and dry) is closing fast.

I had been thinking KSU would be on the 3rd or 4th but the temperature drops 20F with probable rain.

The 1st is looking much better but I'd have to find some side roads to ride or do some sightseeing along the way to fill the extra time.

I have been going down on alternate days checking up on him. He is not doing well at all. Hate to miss out on this but family comes first.

I feel bad for Sonny's family situation as my folks are ageing but yes, I'll take his room in Cabin #22 10/10-12 and possibly the 13th.

Let me know if there are any up front deposits needed.

When I went to check the farms FB site up popped a friend I used to ride with who had stayed there. It turns out he moved down to Spring Branch 2hrs away a few years ago
and is interested in riding the sisters one of the days. It appears he traded his Rocket for a Wing though ;^(

Ill post on my departure and keep and eye on your ride. You are welcome to make a stop at home in Houston on your way there or back. We live modestly but can accommodate you.
