Apparently, Gold Wing riders like car tires.
The Yamaha dealer near me that mounted my car tire said they mount DS for Wingers all the time, so my request was not unusual for them.
Thanks for the compliment. Yes trying to find a place that would mount the tire here in Oklahoma was a chore. A Honda dealership did it for $25.00 dollars Most shops refused to mount it. The Honda shop could not balance it due to the size but I had that covered with the purchase of a decent stand. Worked out rather well. Was told due to the bead shape difference that the tire might leak air but no problems with that so far. Now we are looking at the 20,000 mile tune up and just about got it covered part wise anyways. Experience wise it will be my first time on a major tune up. Hopefully I have studied enough to get through it. Only one way to find out, JUST DO IT.
The Triump dealer will install it for you, Honda of Tulsa, Koweta Customs, Shaggys Cycles, its whatcomes to mind at the moment, they will all install it for you

Really 40 Psi. I am riding at 29 PSI. At forty PSI I would be floating all over the road. The reason behind less PSI is to allow the car tire to flex on the sidewalls. Handles rather well when not fully inflated. Do not have a college education and conduct national test but do have a lot of common sense and know how to ask questions. (Thanks Hanso)
