'14 R3R Transmission Failure

.
The dealership said the same thing and that they have repaired 5 transmission with the same symptoms all between 10k and 15k miles 2011- 2016 model roadsters, in the last year. Makes me wonder how many nation wide have had this problem.

Wonder if they fixed it in the newer models

I would not touch it until you talk to a dealership about it and see if Triumph will cover it.

I think you should at least make the effort to see if they will do the right thing.

Glad you came out of it ok.

This problem should be a recall!! Bash HD all you want, but at least the do recalls. NTSB should be notified. I wonder how many people this killed or hurt because of this circlip problem??
Exactly if the correct authorities are not being told about this do not think for one minute that Triumph will tell them.

I'm afraid a new Goldwing is the only real answer to the many hundreds (thousands?) of transmission failures in this life of this Rocket III conundrum..bastids..

The Goldwing is a fine motor, but I'm just not quite old and decrepit enough yet to go full blown touring.

THOSE things are not any fun compared to the Rocket and of course cant be modded to produce the power of the modded ROCKETS that we love

Yeah, OK, if you say so, Art, I'm wrong again - they suck.
