    Update. So, I was oh so close to catastrophe, but it turned out to be a simple fix. The chain guide bolt, backed out, completely, and sank harmlessly to the bottom of the oil pan. The crazy rapping that was heard was the guide being yanked back and forth by the chain. The chain was being pulled...

    They're coming to get it tomorrow. I bought it from a reputable dealer, and they seem very eager to get it taken care of. Any advice for dealing with Triumph and the dealer would be greatly appreciated, I am not a very demanding guy.

    AS far as the break in goes, they (the salesperson) said 700-1000 miles. I had an appointment this Friday to get the service done, and some pipes installed. I have only had the bike 20 days.

    Is this normal? The video doesn't capture the bone rattling metal on metal clanking. It doesn't go away at any speed. In fact, even at 80mph on the highway, I can here it over the wind noise. The bike is a 2016, and still has break-in oil in, with 700 miles.
