    Yep Bend them in a bit more so they hold better. Or just ditch the 1960's old coil bs and go to the overhead coil packs. It's a good upgrade on its own and is about $150 and 3 hours of work.

    Had the same issue. It's the 2nd gear fork being worn out or bent. I've been down this rabbit hole all the way to the bottom and back with a shattered 4th gear. Trust me when I say it's just a matter of time before it starts popping out and 2nd becomes unusable. I rode around for a good year...
