When stock I used to get about a 180.When the fuel light came on after I after I put the heaters on it.Air filters and a dino tune get wet down to about a hundred and sixty when the light came on. It was the same for both my R3Rs.

Idk who told you that nonsense. Maybe if you ride like an absolute lunatic 100% of the time.
It's normal for about 25 to 30 mph depending on speed and grade and condition of the road or traffic.
Back tire easily 8k before you are done on tred but those are not high performance tires. Check out my post about tire deals. Bridgestone iirc
Just always bring a spare 2 gallons of fuel on every stop you make, and keep a filter you can filter the fuel you put into the bike. Once you leave modern society, fuel gets sketchy.
