  1. Zard penta

I think it's because the ABS system is where the main belly silencer would sit.
  2. P/N Camchain Tensioner Assemly Kit

I used a secondhand 1050 one to do Scott's tensioner mod so that I could always put the standard one back on if I sold the bike.
  3. Another chain tensioner question

Scott, I notice you haven't mentioned your mod to the tensioner so that it can't slip back on the ratchet. Is that something you still advocate, as I did mine and I like the added security it offers. It would also be another good thing to make a sticky as already mentioned.
  4. Compatible Cam Chain Tensioners

Thanks for the replies. Got a 1050 tensioner for £15 (the cheapest Rocket one I could find was £60) and modded the bolt last night. Haven't fitted to the bike yet as need to move supercharger pipework but the modification was easy enough if anyone else plans on doing it. Just drilled 5mm hole...
  5. Compatible Cam Chain Tensioners

As barbagris says, Warp is the main man for this mod but in a nutshell it consists of drilling and tapping the outer nut of the tensioner so the existing short pin can be replaced with a longer threaded bar. This allows you to retain the standard spring but screw the bar up to the tensioner...
  6. Compatible Cam Chain Tensioners

Yes, that's the mod I intend doing but was hoping to pick up a cheap used nut rather than drill my own one so that I could put it back if needs be.
  7. Compatible Cam Chain Tensioners

I'm looking to do the mod on my cam chain tensioner but would like to pick up a used one so I don't have to drill mine.Rockey ones seem quite rare and expensive ad its only really the outer nut I need. Does anyone know any older or more common models with a compatible nut, or the spec of the nut...
  8. Hello from Worcester, UK

Thanks for all the replies. I'll do some more research on the pipes, maybe speak to TTS and see what they say. I'm pretty sure they are standard pipes except for the decat, they are very quiet. PS. Yes it is the one from Bulldog, very impressed with their service by the way.
  9. Hello from Worcester, UK

Hi everyone I've just bought my first R3 which just happens to be supercharged already so I'm kind of in at the deep end. I've always had sportbikes and a couple of Vmax's in the past but after my first few rides on the R3 I'm hooked and haven't even given it the full beans yet. It's...
