    Staking tool?

I have used a chisel, but never looks good when done. I see Amazon has tools to do the job for Toyota car axles. Seems cheap, so I'll order a set.

    Staking tool?

Anyone know of good staking/unstaking tools to release and set the staking nuts on our Rockets?

Anyone Else Lost a Heat Shield Yet?

Yes they are. Slide your fingers behind the hydro-formed cover and you'll find a couple of holes in the back used to ease heat build up inside the cover. They do get hot enough to turn gold, so pretty warm!

Anyone Else Lost a Heat Shield Yet?

But the outer heat shield covers the hydro-formed heat shield. So you are actually gluing the fitting to the inner heat shield which should be alot cooler than the primary tube.

    Coolant Choices

I think Triumph brand hoat is green and oat is red/orange. They both work but you never want to mix the two! You can change between the two but you must do a thorough flush with distilled water before converting.

    Coolant Choices

According to the Owner's manuals, both the first and second generation Rockets require the same coolant (HD4X Hybrid OAT coolant).

1/8mi drag race Touring vs the GT

Does the Suzuki kit fit exactly like the OEM parts? The Suzuki kit looks more robust as it seems to have more pad friction area than Barnett, and has dimpled steels which Barnett does not have. Not sure what purpose the dimples have, but almost all manufacturers use them. Has anyone had any...

    Rocket III 2016 ramair

I dont think a stand alone PC5 will do you any good as the maps from dynojet are not configured for the Hanso tune. You will need an auto-tune module to work with the PC and tune it yourself, or better yet, take the bike to a tuner with the PC5 installed and have them tune it properly.

Resource Download Hans0 tune for 2014+ Roadster, TORs, triple/Ramair filters, ect.

I ran the tune for two years without any problems. My 2014 Roadster had three foam intake filters, TORs, and stock cross over box underneath. I changed this tune when I installed Carpenter exhaust and intake.

    License plate hanger arm bolts!

Went for a little ride today. When I returned and wiped down the bike, I noticed the license plate arm was loose! I almost lost the arm as the two outer bolts were missing and the middle bolt was half backed out. My bike is five years old and I never thought the arm would come loose, so I never...

I like your peg configuration. I have a GT and the Triumph rear peg conversion kit. What else must I purchase to set mine up like yours? Thanks

Rattling on occasion when turning bike on.

Mine has been doing it for a few years now. Seems to be coming from front of the engine and sounds almost like a slight rod knock. Quits within a second or two after start and does it mostly after the bike sits for a few days. No idea what causes it, maybe the compression release apparatus?

    Power Commander V unexpected behavior

I would erase all and start again keeping in mind the autotune is always adjusting to your target fuel. You need to except only steady throttle positions or smooth slow throttle increases. To do this, select an rpm range (example: 2000-4000 rpm), run through the selected range without reducing...

****** guards / engine heat guards

I bought a small soccer shin guard set from Walmart and filled the vent holes in the guard with silicone. Wear it under my jeans leg to keep the heat off my calf from the Carpenter sidewinder exhaust. Works really well for heat reduction, invisable when worn, you can walk around wearing it, and...
