I do. If its a bike I'm not using every week or so at least. I'm not sure its necessary. In fact it probably isn't. I bought the tenders for winter storage really. So since I have them I stick them on the bikes used less frequently. even in summer. Absolutely, I keep tenders on all my bikes and rigs. Trickle chargers so they keep things topped off.
