There are only a select few items in my life I have ever purchased, that I was totally satisfied with. The Rocket is one of them. I don't think you'll regret your decision. Oh and welcome from "mid" Michigan !

Well, it's a done deal now.
Ordered up a new Matt Black R3 Roadster and the dealer comes to pick my Harley up at the weekend. I know I will miss the character of the H-D but sometimes you just gotta go for it !
Probably won't see my new bike till mid January but the weather is pants here anyway and it might give me some space to work on my XS650 (Halco 840cc) and try to get it finished.
Long winter nights figuring out what mods to make to the R3.........where do I start

Start by riding the $hit out of it...then and only then will you know what you want to do to make it your own
 
Welcome from Sunny South Florida (well - today - not so much). You'll find there's NOTHING like riding the Rocket - it's a "magical" experience!
