Would really like pillion grab handles for an R3T

For a number of reasons . . .

SEEKING -- enterprising Rocket person with necessary design and fabrication skills, or who knows same, who could come up with grab handles for an R3T.

Not only would my wife feel much more comfortable back there, it also is a way to attach extra stuff to the bike for trips], particularly given that the OEM side bags are oddly shaped and not so practically roomy.

These are similar to what I have on my Honda CTX700D
Haven't read all the posts, but have you seen the rider belts that have grab handles built into them? The work like kidney belts of yore, and I think there are several manufacturers, at least.

Neat - I'd never heard of such a thing.

It makes perfect sense. I see bikes going down the road -- usually with a skimpily dressed girl behind a guy on a ****** rocket -- and they make me cringe.

I'll have to give that some thought.

Thank you.

Mutazu trunk is on the bike as of this evening, and the missus has tried it and deemed it acceptable.

Had to drill new holes and cut the inside backing plates in half to have a piece for each bolt, and the bolt heads are some odd ancient Chinese measure part way between 13 - 14 mm or 1/2 - 9/16" -- had to use a crescent wrench.

Oh well, when mama's happy, all else fades.

I am pining for a Mutazu fairing, but I am pretty sure I can cobble a Harley trunk to sit on my package rack. Maybe an Ebay no name one if I find one in a shape that complements the factory panniers. I am sure there are a couple contenders.

Do you mean Mutazu fairing or trunk. The Harley one should be fine. @HansO said he had the Mutazu trunk and it looked flash but was quite flimsy and weak and he made some additional modifications to strengthen it internally but then put it aside.

The Tsukayu Fairing, Hard Saddlebags and Touring Trunk stuff is far better made. I picked up a used set of the fiberglass hard bags dirt cheap here in Oz but they had paint scratches and are being repainted in the next month or so.

I am talking fairing, and I believe Tsukayu as well...doh....but am gonna do a trunk too, and a Harley one would be fine, but I do think there may be some with a more appropriate shape, and will jump on one should it catch my eye.
