come on Lupe give them some creditI have sent a message to FIFA to ask them to have water breaks every two minutes, tell the players to slow down to a walking pace, and make every goal worth 100,000 points and make the game last four hours that way most Americans would go ape **** over the game.

If that is the key to success in the USA - WTF don't they play cricket?. AFAIK the only game with meal and sleep breaks. I'm sure they could fit a good 10 commercials in between overs too.

I have said the exact same thing to some of my American friends and the answer was it is too boring once I got back on my feet I asked them what does that make NFL games or baseball two of the slowest sports in the World.

The plain truth is that is a sport best watched on the radio. And with a good pint in the hand.

My dad would turn on the BBC with the sound off and listen to the commentary on the radio.

The other night, ESPN was televising a cornhole competition. I changed to another ESPN channel and World Cup soccer was on so changed it back to the first channel..........
