Wish me luck

Paul the touring forks are different. Maybe you should look at adopting roadster forks. Then you can have traxxion dynamics stick the adjustable cartridges they make.

I'm sure Maxton can make them for touring forks. The caps will be different that's all.

I went for non adjustable preload / damping ...... It doesn't have sports bike capabilities so I don't don't think it is necessary ...hopefully they will be ready next week
Oddly that's what I ordered and expected - but they came with FREE adjustable rebound damping.
The do offer a GP20 (20mmO/D) with adjustable preload and damping. And had I not had odd handlebars I might have taken that route. The GP30 (30mm O/D) are a very different beast and tbh I'm not sure they'd fit well into R3 stanchions

This is the email for what I paid for

No problem, you are aware that there also a charge to strip and rebuild
your forks with the GP20 cartridges, new seals and oil? This will cost an
extra £145.00 + V.A.T. So your invoice will read as follows :

Supply GP20 fork cartridges = £380.00
Strip and rebuild forks with GP20 cartridges and oil = £120.00
Supply and fit new fork seals = £25.00
Return next day delivery = £20.00
V.A.T = £109.00
TOTAL = £654.00

You'll love'em.

TBH I think if ask Maxton for something non-standard they'll try. They did mention that they could maybe do compression damping adjustment in one leg and rebound in the other - but that's before they told me the height of the pre-load turrets, realized they'd hit my bars and I simply asked for non-adjustable.

They might if you take it to them. I have adjustable rebound and compression but non standard. And not cartridge style. Two ducati monster 1198 springs in each fork pllus the mofified caps to suite the ducati and triumpg fork tubes. It does make a world of difference. I find myself on toads I would have normally avoided.

The email I received from them said they were unable to obtain liability insurance for the US and Canadian markets, and given the litigious nature of of our society, they regret being unable to provide parts to me.

American (or Australian or other UK) alternative for the Touring forks ?

There is a US mfr that does cartridge emulators for the T. Race Tech Cruiser - New
