goliath, If you click on the link in my first post in this thread, you will find a very good "how to" article with diagrams. The second posts link has everything you will need for the job, even premade wiring harnesses. Good luck, It's really very easy.

I ordered teh one from beaverdam, teh premeade but it did nto come with directions and reviewed the article. i am confused as to teh heavy black wire that appears to got to the battery. where does teh other end go" Also teh tow wires to the relay (black and red) I know i am probably making this harder than needs to be, but those three are confusing me.

i figured out the black ground wire. where does the switching leads (red and black) that come out of the relay go.

The red wire is your switched power lead and is terminated on the positive side of the distribution block. The black wire from the relay goes to the negative side of the block.
