Winter modifications

Found it on eBay. Said its for a triumph tiger explorer 1200. T2081811. I wanted a black one to match motor, thought the angle and length looked good so took a chance on it. Think it's going to work well.

Update: installed triumph flyscreen today, replacing my mra screen. Also installed the brake and clutch levers, didn't brake anything and they still work. Rails and floorboards are on, put shifter lever on. Still no rear brake, had to order bolt and spring for brake pedal from Hermy's, mine wouldn't work. Also have to modify mounting of master cylinder. Put front fender on and it was too close to tire, actually rubbed when you rolled bike, so have to change mounting of that. Have not even started rear fender, license plate bracket, and led turn signals, expect some problems there also. Took it for a quick ride before the rain starts. Cold front rolling in, maybe snow again on Friday. Floorboards are great, first bike I've ever rode with them, shifter worked great up and down shifting.

New brake pedal bolt and spring arrived. The one from my roadster that wouldn't work is on the left, one I need on the right.
What part numbers are the new bolt and spring. I need the same for my footboard conversion

Okay, got the front fender mounted. I'm obviously not a machinist or fabricator, I just cut four pieces of steel 3" long and drilled 3 holes in them. Painted them black and attached fender. It sits about an inch higher now, feels solid. Guess I can't really recommend buying this fender since it didn't bolt straight up. Fiberglass feels pretty thin on sides where I drilled holes. Didn't take any pics of the pieces I made before I installed them, but here are some pics of after.

Reinstalled the Corbin seat today. Brackets bolted right up to new fender. Seat lined up and went right on, no problems. Also installed new coolant overflow tank, never was completely happy with having it under seat. Took a quick pic, I know I still need to clean it, maybe in the spring. In the fifties today so went for a ride, everything is working great. So here it is with new fenders, flyscreen, and footboards.
