Who is the Oldest Rider

I’m reading this post with my progressive lenses and my compression leggings on. The plan for today is to take my wife to lunch on a 50 mile ride. The ride is fixed. Leaving home at 11:30 am. Everything else is open to choice. Directions aren’t needed. This is for two people 63 yrs old. Just a nice lunch, and be home by dark. Could be as short as 100 miles, or as far as 400 miles. Age has it’s advantages.

two opposites occurring simultaneously
Have you noticed your getting more straight backed yet more laid back the longer you ride.....we'll call it Starmanut's Paradox

Hummm 73 next month. Arthritis has me so crippled up, I'm afraid to get on a bike. And trying to keep 6 of them running, has become an almost impossible task. 2 Rockets have been sitting out in the rain, with covers, for the past 3 days, as I try to re arrange my barn, to try to make more room to work. Old age sucks big time! At least I had a hell of a time in my younger years! Ha!

I'm 75 and have the Rocket up for sale. Still riding it but a dodgy hip says it's time for something smaller. This past weekend, with a few friends I rode up to Lavigne Ontario on my Norton Commando to a Norton rally. 200 miles each way and a smooth. Probably time to thin the herd down. Also selling my Atlas and another Commando. I could use the room.
