Whirring noise

Just got my 2020 rocket 3 R from a dealer on Tuesday of this week, now (Thursday) I'm hearing a whirring nosie from the rear end. It sounds like the wind howling, but it's different than all the other wind noise I'm hearing. Could it be the final drive? It only makes noise above about 15 mph.

Does the noise change with lean angle? If so, it could be linked to rear wheel brgs due to increased side load on some worn brgs. This noise would usually be speed sensitive also. How many kilometers on the bike.

Just thinking out loud here... since the new Rockets have a single swing arm, I guess you could get some final drive brg noise from lean angle too but those side brgs on the crown gear in the final drive are much larger than the wheel brgs. Have you checked to see what the condition of the final drive oil is (or if there is any)? Jack the rear end of the bike up and check the wheel for any play.

Question about Noise while releasing clutch

hi, When bike is completely stopped and then after releasing clutch slowly in gear 1 I hear some noise from engine somewhere near clutch plates area. Or when I try to move bike in parking lot or out of driveway out of garage and we need that gear 1 slow clutch to move it little bit. It doesnt...

Does it change in pitch with speed or with RPMs or neither?
