Guys, I want to mount an Garmin zumo 350lm navigation on my rocket. Most likely I want to place it just between the flyscreen and the gauges (instead on the handlebars), but will there be enough space to use the ignition key?
I can make all sort of mounting plates that is not the problem, also I was thinking of mounting some spacers to place the flyscreen a little bit foreward. Maybe some of you have some experience with this issue. Sorry for my bad English.

English is fine mate. I relocated my ignition switch to the left infill panel in the middle of the bike. But spacing the screen would work I would think.

Seems like lots of guys have gone keyless or relocated. Seems like somebody recently posted a picture of a mount similar to what you're seeking? Not sure if they had to adapt for ignition or not?

Found it ;)

I used one of these...

It lines up with the 2 bolts that holds the gauges, then I used longer bolts

then I used one of their 3-4 inch extension clamps...

and then finally this as the base to hold the Zumo cradle

I have the Zumo 390 which is same physical size I will take a picture of it I mounted it on bar right up against the bar clamp so it sits just nicely behind speedo and i can easily use ign key and with both my fly and touring screens

That is what came with mine except it also had U bolts the fit that ball bracket and fairly sure comes with All the Garmin Zumo's my 390 is much the same unit as the 350 except the 390 has tyre pressure monitor ability (for an extra $90 per sender) and also came with a car plug and mount

Go here http://www.rammount.com/ramgps.htm#/ and put in the model of Garmin you have. You need to get a mounting bracket and the cradle. These are excellent for motorcycles are extremely strong.
just checked the Garmin website, the Garmins don't make a song and dance about it in their advertising as "TomTom" does but they supply "Ram" mounting hardware with all the "Garmin Zumo" range
