There is a hydro dipper near me, does paintwork as well and I had him do my DT250MX that I restored. Had a look at the dipping stuff, some great results and is approx twice the price of powder coating.
I like the idea of gun metal grey as well but I want something bright that shows off my naturally flamboyant and exuberant personality

So, to summarise I am going to end up with a red green blue grey hydro-dipped Rocket Quad with yellow rim tape?
