WHAT WEEK in JULY?

If we choose the week of the 4th the T Shirt could picture a Rocket at Mt Rushmore with fireworks in the sky. That would be very cool.

I'm not too concerned what week, but I always vote for the latest date, it gives me more time to save up for the trip.

Sturgis rally more often the first 10 days in august give or take a few days july 4'th was wife and I first date waaaaaay back in 1974 so maybe questenable(?) for me

July 4th -
Do we REALLY want to deal with all the holiday crowds and traffic on the roads and in the towns???

Suggested Itinerary:
Arrive Spearfish on a Sunday & spend Sun & Mon nights in Spearfish - Day ride that area on Mon & Tue, spend Tue night in Hulett, WY - Ride Wed to Red Lodge, MT, spend the night - Ride Thu to Beartooth and Dead Indian passes to Cody, spend night.
Friday open for those that wish to continue or head home.
