WHAT REAR WHEEL BEARING SIZES???

Thanks for the dope regarding All Balls.

I was under the gun for an upcoming trip so I ordered these new from Bike Bandit and I received them in three days!
#18) Ball bearing 1 $32.74
#4) T3500012 Circlip 1 $2.84

It appears the All Ball kit does NOT include the two circlips (one is very large for the differential) and the two O rings.
Their prices on the three bearings are indeed much less expensive! The double bearing alone was over $38.


Bottim line is . . . the noise has departed!!! :thumbsup:
 
On the question of bearings feeling tight when in the rear wheel but once out they spin freely...Ive covered this many months ago in another thread and i discovered Mr Triumph made the centre spacer a tad too long and when buttoned up in the wheel it puts side loading on the bearings and giving them the feel of being tight and knacked...My solution was to take a couple of thou of each side of the spacer on my lathe and now i have bearings that feel fine and un-stressed;).... Just thought i would mention if it saves someone wasting money on new bearings like i did,i fitted them anyway but it still annoyed me.
 
Yes indeed. Took my bike to a dealer in Oklahoma City for a new back tire. The only time my bike has seen a dealer. Well not only did they install the foot-pegs upside down? They managed to torque the rear axle down to a unbelievable amount. New spacer and bearings along with replacing stripped out bolts was a very costly endeavor.
 
I did about 20K on the OEM, then another 20K on the second set from Babbits.
So far I'm at 53K, or 13K on the AXIS.
