I'm restoring my 08 and unfortunately I've got a single connection where I don't know what it connects to. It's a female that looks like it connects to a sensor but I don't know what.

Any advice or help?

That might be the end of the crank sensor or the tip over connector.
You might check codes maybe that will tell you what it is

How many wires?
Can you check ohms
Can you check voltage?

Two wires, it looks like. Unable to check anything at the moment, as the bike ain't been running for about 3 months. Trying to hook her all back up so she'll actually run

The plug is not the fall sensor be that has three wires
May be the crank sensor should be able to check ohms I have the ohms value at the shop. There is some connections at the wiring loom near the top not a sensor.

Left side from your photo. Check your fuel injectors and make sure they all are hooked up. Also check the Primary (Rear) TPS at the rear of the throttle body assemblies. Lastly, you don’t see the random male connector floating around somewhere??

Crank sensor check 475 ohms to 525 ohms
produces when cranking 2.7 t0 3.1 volts AC
what color wire combination do you have on these wires?
