what is this for? Help me.

hi i am interested to know if anyone out there has an idea what this is for? i installed risers on my bike and when i took the throttle apart there is a wire with two pronges (i guess that's what you would call it) on it in the starter button housing. would someone please tell me that is for cruise control. thanks everyone for any help.

Do they line up with the switch blank on the front of the housing that used to be for headlamps on/off switch before they became hard wired.
