What is the best throttle lock to buy

OOps - Just saw this on Go cruise website!

WARNING
Improper installation and/or use of the throttle control could result in serious injury or death, as is the case with any other motorcycle specific part or accessory.

If so, tis lawyers at work.
The Go-Cruise does NOT lock the throttle!
It simply creates enough friction to temporarily slow the throttle from quickly closing so a rider can scratch, gesture or stretch the right arm.
Go-Cruise does not hold or maintain a constant speed and can be EASILY rolled back off if desired . . . at any time!

Windvest makes an awesome windshield for the rocket 3. It's small enough to be unobtrusive, but with a curve on the lip that throws air up and over you. Really well made, solid and beautifully finished.

Well said...I look at it as just one less thing to have to think about or deal with in a crash or panic stop situation. Amazing quality...I've had one on three different bikes and it's never let me down.

I just left a message for Brakaway. I have a 2011 R3T, with HD Heritage bars and Oxford heated grips. I'm hoping they have a lock that will work for that set-up.

Secdom fairing from France - minimalistic mounting, good vision and headlight cut-outs for the Rocket. I bought mine through an English dealer and shipped to AUS. I have had it on for eight years or so now and found it great in wind and rain ... but I added a cheap set of National hand shields as well but had to make the mounts out of a bit of 1" flat mild steel.
I have tried a lot of friction based throttle locks ... loved em all but when I finally bit the bullet and bought MCCruise it just added another dimension. I find myself locking in in 80km zones and waive to Highway Patrol cars with smug confidence, simply the best thing I have ever added to the bike. Just take your time and try everything you can.
Some of the cheap National fairings aren't bad but they tend to let a lot of air flow underneath which buffets the chest and gives you that strobe vision effect as your head is shaken about at high speed ....... or is that just old age seizure activity bought on by excitement

Looks good too!

Agree it is the first throttle lock I have ever tried that does as it is supposed to without causing the throttle to bind and if you set it up correctly it disengages the instant you even touch the front brake

Brake Away is the way to go IMO. My bike came from the former owner with one installed and I love it. Every once and awhile in really cold and/or damp weather, it will slip and I will gradually slow down, but that has only happened to me when I ride to work in the wee hours and it's in the low to mid 30's outside. Otherwise, it's great for giving the throttle hand a break on a long stretch. Plus, use Kuryakin grips with the palm rest on the end. Really helps with fatigue.

I noticed on their website that the BrakeAway isn't compatible with heated grips. Has anyone with heated grips installed them on their rides? What was the issue?
