Dang, I think I would buy this myself, if I hadn't just bought and repainted some beetle bags to match my Rocket.

it sure is purty...

.If you paid 11K for a set of Beetle bags and a paint job, you were born...last night.:D

I believe the outcome of GM is gonna be a little different that what the public at-large comprehends right now.

Let me remind everyone that GM is very entrenched in Government contracting, from the MRAP vehicle to the Hunvee, making not only powertrains but componentry, something that Chrysler is not and neither is Fords. Just because of that fact, GM isn't going anywhere, the Fed can't let it, despite all the gloom and doom.

Sit back, let your panties untwist and relax.

Besides, I own a Chevy, just like Tomo (2) (running that is)....:) I don't want to rake my Chevy to some military base for warranty work...could you imagine that fiasco?

I will say that the UAW needs to become a lesser prescence in all the automakers, something that is already happening, but, GM isn't going anywhere and neither is the local neighborhood Chevy dealer.

No I didn't pay 11k,

But I convienced the minister of war and finance that I "needed" hard bags, and then I got them and the bike custom painted.

so now I have a rocket with hard bags thus negating the "need" for a R3T.

if I had left my bike alone, I could in theory now mentally justify that I "needed" a Touring bike, as my rocket would get the fender bob treatment and become a drag bike..

either way, its a smoking deal on a "new" bike, and should go fast.

if I had the money laying around, Id buy it and try to sell for a profit.

$10,900 buys this bike with both windshields. (I listed it on two sites for $11,495 without the extra shield.) It's got over a year of warranty. Clean and well cared for.
