What do you guys think?

Before I clean it up for a ride Saturday I decided to spray it black not a good job but will give a idea how this will look when finished.
So should I keep it up and finish it? Or should I chuck this idea? You may not notice but the spoiler curves around the tire and above is open one long vent so air will go through from under the bottom.
I would think when all sanded and shaped better and a nicer paint job it might look better

Yes shocks will go one day maybe some nice black ones with a sleave so you don't see the springs

Thanks jamie, Maybe in the winter I'll paint it orange to see what it looks like this way before I spend the money I could see what colour looks the best it might look to much orange the black might break it up but I will try orange.
So you think also I should get rid of the back spoiler? maybe to much?
I got mixed emotions about the back spoiler up close it looks cool but in picture might look to be too much?

If it serves a purpose (handling, protection for things whacking the tire) than leave it.
If not gives us a pic without it. I kinda like it but not enough views. Just drive around to everybodys house so they can see it in person

I went to a grand opening for a new Harley place and there was a bike builder there, and I ask him if he would come look at my bike to show him what I did and he said that that my spoiler and vents and grill piece fit together great, and that it was very well done. He couldn't believe that I did it out of wood. He said that even if he did it out of metal he doesn't think he could make the two vent as identical as I did
And said that if I gave him those pieces and he did a really nice paint job that no one would know that its not metal that it would be the cheapest way for me.
And I said there is a few other people that are interested as well and he said if you did it out of metal at $75.00 a hour, he couldn't say how long it would take him and that every set would be a little different.

And the cheapest would to be have some one use them as a mold and do them out of fiberglass.

He was telling me when he was a kid in China that he saw people get sand and mix something in the sand so it will harden. Then they would cover whatever they want to copy and let it harden, then they would cut in half and melt cans and other metals. Next they would poor it into each half and let it dry and they take away all the dirt. Then you got you two halfs that they put together and then you got your duplicate.
Wow I thought that was cool but he couldn't remember what they used to harden the sand

But he gave me his email address and he said that there is a place in California and they have these machines that they would put my spoiler and program the computer and they could dulpicate my spoiler and vents to the tee. But he said that it wouldn't be worth it just to do one set because the programming takes the most time. Once they set up they can make how many I want.
So I'm going to get in touch with this company and see if it's worth while and how much it will cost and I'll let you guys know.
If it's too much I'll find out how much it will be in fiberglass.
And if it's still too expensive and no one wants them I might just have this guy do a really nice paint job on my stuff and call it good.
It felt good to see so many people taking a picture of my bike and walking around my bike and and when I drove off I got a lot of thumbs up
