What did you do to your Rocket today?

mounted my quadlock handlebar mount with the wireless charger and installed quickshifter along with the 600 mile service. It’s finally a real muscle cruiser.

Trying to figure out how to mount some sort of sat-nav on the R3 GT. I'm a technophobe and my present phone contract won't allow the data I need to run a smartphone nav app. That's the way I'll go eventually but I've got a coastal jaunt planned for tomorrow and I need a quick fix.
I may just buy a Garmin Zumo as they're on offer locally at a very good price, but it's sorting out a bar mount and a charging jack plug. Unfortuantely my local dealership is closed on Mondays.

Getting a Garmin Zumo is an expensive option & they're fiddly to use unless you've used them before. How about a cheap 2nd phone? Download the Waze app & you're good to go. Plenty of handle bar phone mounts avail, ball mount ones are better. The phone could be charged up off the Aux socket under the screen, you'd need a DIN USB adapter plug for it though. (or you can go off the wires from behind the DIN socket)

If you do go the Zumo way, you can use the power behind the Aux bracket (or buy an appropriate adapter to fit in the DIN socket that matches the Zumo)

You haven't left yourself much time to get it sorted really, another option is possibly borrow someones setup that just plugs in to the DIN socket?

I'd be interested to see a video (or time lapse photos) of the transition from

On Side Stand

to

Up in the air.

And reverse.
I'd like to see that as well. I bought a big blue the other day but haven't used it yet. Did you get the lifting brackets? I have some coming.
