What did you do to your Rocket today?

When I bought my fly screen (2nd hand) it came with the mounting brackets, but not the parts that mount it to the forks.
I wasn't that keen on those stock mounts anyway, and didn't really like the way that the screen looked in that position, so I made up my own mounts.
I wanted the nose of the screen flush with the head lights.

And yes it is just fine at any speed that I've cared to travel at.

Dangit, too late now but I would have opted for those brackets as I too wanted to extend out to the top of the lights and didn't think 3" spacers would suffice.

Ah, I was working in Mexico for a few years and didn't log in much.
Posts only go back to 2016 it seems.

I had thought of having a plate with 4 holes made to extend the screen brackets but it would have been 'fugly' and expensive.

Your fork clamps look far superior to OEM.

No big deal, I'll see how I like my change and go from there.

Hoy es la primera vez que trabajo en mi Cohete, he montado accesorios (defensas delanteras y traseras, pantalla pequeña, asiento, supresor de catalizador) pero hoy he aprendido a cambiar el aceite del motor y el filtro del aceite, trabajo realmente sencillo y fácil para muchos de vosotros pero estoy contento porque además lo hice en dos R3 !!!! La mía y la de un amigo

Perdóname amigo, no lo pensé!!! De todos modos teníamos el tiempo justo para hacer el cambio de aceite, quería cambiar también el líquido de transmisión pero no pudimos por falta de tiempo.

Well, I did not do much "to" it today, but I got a ride in!!! Finally!!! It was 48 degrees out, but dry. Zipped in the collar to my helmet and it was nice and cozy. My fingers got a bit chilled, but not like the ride around the block two days ago at 35 degrees.

Cant wait for the 70's weather. Been a bad winter for riding this year.

And no oil leaks whatsoever with that new sump gasket and bolts. Knock on wood.
