What did you do to your Rocket today?

Gave Number 74 a bath after a few months of hard work. IMG_0733.JPG IMG_0737.JPG IMG_0735.JPG IMG_0734.JPG IMG_0738.JPG IMG_0736.JPG Running good but still needs a dyno. Got that covered.:sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sick::sick::sick::sick::sick::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Got an idea when your next #74 is coming in?

Well, hallelujah it didn't rain today and got to 65F.

Did some yard work, installed the fork lower covers that I wrapped last night and went for a long ride and got a BBQ dinner. Life is good.

I think the additional de-blackification via injecting color into the void of darkness with the gold chrome on the lowers has added balance and harmony. LOL

These pieces were a biiaatttccchh to wrap as they had multiple compound curves. I ended up doing two pieces of vinyl but they didn't come out too
well.

I got frustrated and had to stop mucking with it last night. I might have to redo them at some point as the ends look like crap up close...

I also found a small "Beware of the Dog" metal sign and am going to mount it under the bulldog grill cover tomorrow.

I like the headlights. Went and took a gander at my fly screen the painter us working on. Could resist after spending 4 days working in a crawl space. Looking good just needs automotive clear coat.

Yup, that's a bad a$$ screen. I've been looking at his work for awhile.

The headlight wraps were for a Can-Am Outlander ATV and are a little small at 4" diameter for our 5.75" lamps but blended well with the black LEDs.

They were $19.

I'm designing a similar snake-eye set that are 5.75" diameter.

For some reason I'm thinking a set of blood shot eyes would match most bikers :)looks cool. Bet even better on the ole tribal beast.

As for the fly screen I was lucky and got it of Dave aka rocket head oh years back for a steak dinner. I wasn't smart enough to pursue the Eddie I liked and had a chance to and Chris's health had not gone bad. Then I missed a Aces High screen out west cause I'm if not frugal I'm slow a stupid with the bid. I usually use the clear sports fly scrren for see through purposes. But since I took a solid one on a 3000 mile ride last hear. Im getting used to the solids. Otherwise Eddie would be back on the wall. I forgot the black brackets that came with it in illinois so I'm hopeful the OEM Fly screen hardware will work. Good seeing you post again Jim its been quite some time since we road. Can't wait for RAA
