Hey, nice windshield. I have windvest too. The helmet is in clean air unless Im speeding, then I tuck behind the vest. Try lowers. It quiets the wind noise.

The Windvest came on the bike when I bought it. I wanted to put one on my 011 but $400.00 has scared me off. Right now for that bike I scored a fixing kit and a used OEM shield and an OEM flyscreen.

I have the stock hardware for my Classic. Keep it for the next owner, if there is one to ever that wants the OEM look. For me it was more aerodynamics that looks. Took off the barn door off the Valkyrie too.

What did you do with the Windvest?

I put on @Paul Bryant 's header, which I had prepared in chrome. Loading new tune tomorrow. Pics to follow.

Which way did you mount yours? Forward or reverse?

My trip didn't pan out weather wise. I decided it was safer to crawl back under the house and continue replacing floor joyce's. Not sure if its better off but other then sweat there is no rain under the house will keep a eye on the weather as we are supposed to get a douched pretty good

Forward. My tyre guy insisted. He argued that the grip/wear benefits of running the tread normal would outweigh any potential de-lamination concerns.
The cording bias issue not relevant on a radial.

We shall see. It will get some more serious stressing on the 22nd. I'd rather not get to test the wet handling then though.
