probally accidently turned on while locking the steering like I did at work but luckilly I could see the bike from a window and went back and turned them off maybe he was not so lucky

Imagine how confused the Mexican would have been if he'd done that.

Park lights on bikes is mandatory in many countries. Ive had a few big dual use bikes and even they had them.
Although my Yamaha TT600R has them ,they only work when the engine is running because it has no battery.Kind of pointless

Does the rear light come on with the park lights? I dont think I have ever bothered to look.

Your battery is good for about 6 hrs if you use them.

In the UK they are indeed parking lights, you cannot run with them alone as you will see the key is turned anti-clockwise ignition off, they are for when you stop on the roadside to grab something from 7-11 leave them on so nobody runs up your a-s and nobody can steal your bike because the key is in your pocket and the steering lock is on great site lol.
