You can see the new tire and the new Whelen TIR3 lights. They are bright! will post night time photo when I can. You can also see my K1200RS collecting dust since I got the Rocket.

That tire looks like it was made for the bike. Good tread pattern, too. The center rib is not straight so is less likely to be influenced by road grooves.

Lights look good, too.

I just picked up another set of Whelen led lights. the ones in the photo above have 3 bulbs these have 12 bulbs so 4x as bright.

The tire and lights both look good.Where in Florida are you headed to? There are several Rockets around down here, sure some would like to meet.

Hmmm.....an interesting post. I don't recall the info about the tire and lights being posted before. Did a motorcycle dealer put the tire on the rim for you? Any issues with mounting and fender clearance? What about the weight and speed rating of the tire? I guess I'll have to do some more research on this project. Most tire mods have been geared to the R3R.

Thanks for the lifting pictures as well. I just bought a Craftman Pro Aluminum Lift and finished making my one of a kind lifting plate with adjustable floorboard bar lifting support posts. Every picture I see on the forum is useful.

The tire is rated at 168mph I did make an error in size inis a 205/55/ZR16 w91 not as tall as the stock tire.
Let us know when you're going to be down and we can try and get together .

I am leaving tomorrow and will be the by noon Friday. Staying for 2-3 weeks. Dan
