Well, the night started out great

Crash Test Dummy doesn't have a very good retirement program.☠️☠️☠️☠️
I don't know but this was my avatar for years in various places and I'm enjoying mine.;):D

Took all the broken parts off today. Ran the engine for the first time since the crash. Fired right up. There were a few parts that needed to be straightened but had no lasting damage. Spun the front wheel, rim is true as are both front disc's. Shouldn't be too hard to make it look new again.

@Steel Scott,
Now that I have arrived home, let's get this rear frame cover swap thingy going so Fred can get his chromies!
PM me an address so I can send you my blacks . . .

Unbelievably, Fred, I just saw this thread some minutes ago. As usual, many of our stellar members gave you and Melissa great comfort and support, while others still gave you some very good advice about how to negotiate the insurance minefield. Foremost (my insurer, too) is a top-notch outfit and it appears that they treated you right.

Sheesh! That was a close one, brother - too darned close for comfort.:eek:

So happy to read that you and your lady got through your deer skirmish much better than the accursed creature and your dear R3 did.

Look for my PM. I might have a big present for you.;)
