Fred your insurance agent must have been on the happy bacy, $5843 for a 2005 Rocket you came away smiling my good man, now remember if your bearclaw is effed up take the mounting bit off the rear of it for me.
Now you said Tony in Australia? if it is the same Tony who hails from Ballingry in Scotland check the serial numbers on the tins---just saying
Even better than that $5843 + 450 + 500 = 6793 +$1500 = $8293 means Freds a Champion! Even if the $950 was paid upfront rather than deducted before final payment of the $5843 for the bike he did bloody well Have fun with 'The Phoenix' Fred.
State Farm totaled mine & put a value of around $4000 - After hard work & schooling them on the mods I finally got them up to around $4750ish....... Then they deducted about $2100 or so for the "salvage value" so I ended up with only $2650 but fortunately mine was not near as damaged as yours so I was able to get it back to 95% (chose to straighten the fender without painting it - chrome trim molding covered it up) with that money.
Also I was the "claimant" (hit by their insured) so I got another $1020 for rental they owed me since it took them 34 days to accept liability & settle the loss @ $30 per day rental vehicle
So your company really came through for you man!
All the vehicle misfortunes that you've had back to back to back, you really deserved a good outcome
Fred as you know I have been trying to sell my 2005 Red Rocket for a wee while now without any success, any chance of you flying down to Florida and crashing my bike for me so I can claim the insurance
