Looking in Australia for a cheap system to buy (or borrow) so I can pass RWC to register my '05 in Victoria. Need headers, pipe and mufflers. The system on the bike won't pass....

Yeah - it's a brilliant system and sounds amazing - too amazing. Looks good too. There's not much to it - just straight through black pipe with hand made heat shields, no cat, no baffles, no mufflers.

I have a full stock system. I'm in Idaho USA. Every time I have tried to ship to OZ the shipping costs have killed the deal.

Yeah - and there are also restrictions on importing anything that has been in contact with fuel which further complicates things. Strange but true... Thanks for the thought though.

No worries mate I just got back from my bush block 100km south of Darwin and back in Canberra for a week or two before my next trip north.
I have a couple of stock headers/collector and chrome covers etc. I have a cat free high flow crossover to suit stock collector and or a single pipe converter /connector to run a single RHS pipe.
I sold the 3 pipes exhaust cans but still have all the chrome covers for both sides.
I think I have a stock 3 pipe crossover with cat inside too in storage 30 km away.
The stock Roadster twin pipe crossovers are cat free as cats in exhaust cans on those ABS models.
You will not need cat converters to pass rego though, even in Victoria will you?
I do have a couple of pairs of stock Roadster exhaust cans too but these have different frame mounting points to the stock 3 pipe systems and would need a simple adapter bracket to fit.

Hi Ishrub - great to hear from you. What's the simplest solution? It's only going to be on the bike for the time it takes to be inspected. Vic don't do emissions testing for RWC so as long as is looks like a 'properly' manufactured aftermarket setup that isn't too loud then it should work. I doubt many inspection stations would know that a stock R3 looks/sounds like.
