want to put a trunk on the r3 tourer

It only took about 2 hours to make the mounting for my trunk. I used a 3/16 in. alum. plate under the trunk. Remove the backrest from the quick mounts and bolt the luggage ract to the mounts. Bolt the plate to the Triumph chrome rack. It's easy and gives you a quick mount trunk. Their are pics of my mount in my photo album.

The Harley tour pack looks the best I believe.

I didn't like the boxy look of the Harley trunk.

I thought the lines of the Tsuyaku trunk fit the saddlebags of the tourer better.

Someone PMed me a while ago asking about what make the one I bought was, I apologize for not answering, my PM box was full so I deleted all, and then couldn't remember who asked. There's no manufacturer listed on the install instructions, it just says ridebikegear at the bottom. It's pretty cheap, the backrest isn't foam rubber, it feels like hard Styrofoam. It came from ridebikegear dot com, it looks just like the last one they list, but I seem to remember paying $150 or less, maybe they carry a different line now, it was a few years ago, I thought it looked kinda cheap, so I never installed it..

Corbin makes both a faring and trunk for the Rocket III Touring model. Very Expensive, though.

Holy crap, I googled it, $1500 for a trunk box? I've bought whole bikes cheaper than that. Actually, 2 of my current bikes combined cost less than that. Crazy.

I have it for three years now. Great Trunk, good quality, easy install. Comes complete with all the stuff you need.
It can held two Helmets.
I put in some extra lights which also look good.
