Want one...NEED one!

Thank you all! I'm excited and just needed the confirmation from somewhere that this bike is really THAT good!
Take one for decent test ride find a straight and open the taps.. You will either Sh!t  yourself and never go near one again or you will love it get a massive grin and go back to the dealer and put a deposit on it
;)I'm betting it will be the later so don't forget to take your cheque book with you

I think your going to be pleasantly surprised when you ride the beast. Triumph rarely makes changes to their r3 line and when they do they leak something to the press, this time of year the mad rush to ride is beginning to taper and by august most dealers start discounting.Vic makes some cool cruisers but if you get a r3 you will forget all about it.

And remember, it's not a V-twin. I have a Yamaha Warrior very similar in looks and feel to your old Victory. The Rocket is a totally different feel. V-twins have a certian sound and feel and many may prefer that. That's cool but let's just say I really have little desire to ride my Warrior anymore.

Also remember any new Roadster you test ride will be stock. You'll get another 20 to 30 hp out of it just doing some minor mods.

Welcome to the Forum from Sunny South Florida Leftover is the way to go. I paid $13,500 for my 2009 R3T (retail at the time was $17,250) in 2010. Not likely to be such significant changes from one model year to the next to warrant waiting.
