I guess I'm under number 7. 3/3 Staintune with their own cat bypass and removable baffles. Probably not as long pitched as Mad Dogs but a lot deeper than OEM and from what I hear..... too low, too long is too much! I've heard Captains say that riding with too low a pitch exhaust that's loud wears your ears out in a few hours.
Sounds to reason since I remember studies done in the 60's using low osolation waves to cause pain and sometimes it would break down the fiber in muscle tissue. Ask rock bass players who sat on their big speakers hour after hour during rehearsals and within a year had no sphincter muscle control.
# 4 For me , only because thats what the bike had on it when I traded my Speedmaster for it. IMHO this thread would have been nice as a "poll" so as to see the results.
Yes. Sadly, Mad Dogs are now a thing of the past. The guy who was producing them for Dave has retired for good. And there's zero stock left in Australia (info is straight from Dave to the undersigned, as of last night)Jamie

If I had a spring wardrobe I'd have a set of Predators!!! That's some fine artistry! But, I value my peace. A second Beast, permannent, (for posing) would have me having an organism quite periodically That's NOT to be confused with my ear to ear stretch mark anytime I'm in tune with my HER3TIk Beast.
none of the above for me. I like my stock pipes with the fur ball removed. I will be adding the resistor mod this winter. I am happy with the performance and the sound. I can ride all day and still hear last call. :bch:
