Hi all. I have just started to notice a not particularly loud sort of low whistling sound (it's hard to really describe it tbh) coming from the diff area of my GT. I have had the bike checked out by my local Triumph dealer (I am in the UK) while having a new front tyre and pads fitted and they say they cannot find a problem. They replaced the diff oil as a precaution but the noise is still there, although it is not too intrusive. It still bothers me though. The bike has done 9200 miles, almost 7000 with me. Has anyone else had this issue? Cheers.

I get a whistle at higher speeds while turning- as in a sweeper. It's coming from the tire. I notice it more with the Exedra Max, but also to some extent with the new Cruisetecs. Are you sure it isn't your rear tire while in a lean?
Funny you say that, I have just fitted a new tyre (well about 800 miles ago) - a Metzeler ME888 Ultra Marathon, replacing the original OEM Avon Cobra Chrome. I only fitted a Metzeler as I had a bad puncture while touring in Northern Spain and the Metzeler was the only tyre the local shop could get quickly (I have also just fitted a matching front). I wonder if the noise is from the tyre? Saying that, I hear it all the time, not just at lean.
